Only for oiled or waxed timber floors. For every other surface, only fill Spray Mop with Universal Cleaner, never dilute. If using plain water, keep it cold, never hot or boiling, as heat can damage the bottle and trigger mechanism. Don't add essential oils, especially citrus, as they degrade the plastic.

Empty the bottle if you're not mopping again soon. If you've used plain water for an oiled or waxed timber floor, it can develop odours faster than Universal Cleaner does. Give the bottle a quick rinse with cool tap water and let it air-dry between uses. If the bottle starts to smell, wash it with warm (not hot) soapy water, rinse well, and dry fully before refilling.
