Can I add essential oils for a fragrance?Updated an hour ago

TL;DR

  • Laundry - Sensitive Laundry Liquid: ≈ 10 drops on a small clean cloth, toss into the wash.
  • Universal Cleaner - Atomiser / Spray Mop: 2–3 drops per full bottle/tank; swirl gently.
  • Bathroom & Shower Cleaner and Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner (Foaming Spray Bottle): 2-3 drops max, no citrus oils (they can shorten foamer life).
  • General rule: avoid thick resinous oils, less is more; extra oil clogs valves, not cleans better.
  • Fragrance-free option: skip the oils; products still work exactly the same.

Sensitive Laundry Liquid

Add ≈ 10 drops of your favourite 100 % pure essential oil (e.g. lavender, eucalyptus) to a small clean cloth. Pop the cloth in with your load. No need to pour oil into the machine itself. Skip fabric softener; our fragrance-free formula keeps fibres soft on its own.

Universal Cleaner in Atomiser Spray Bottle / Spray Mop

For a subtle scent boost, mix up to 2 or 3 drops of essential oil per full 500 ml Atomiser Spray Bottle or Spray Mop tank. Swirl gently to disperse, vigorous shaking isn’t needed. Using more than the recommended dose can build up and clog the fine spray valves.

Bathroom & Shower Cleaner and Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner (Foaming Spray Bottle)

You can scent these too-dose just 2-3 drops per refill, then swirl. Avoid citrus oils (lemon, orange, grapefruit); they will accelerate wear on the foaming mechanism. Resinous or thick oils also raise clog-risk, so go light or skip them.

Essential-Oil Best Practices

  1. Start with fragrance-free product for a clean scent slate.
  2. Add oils fresh each refill-aromas fade in storage.
  3. Spot-test on delicate fabrics or sealed stone if uncertain.
  4. Store oils in a cool, dark place and keep cap clean to prevent contamination.

Prefer zero scent? Simply leave the oils out, Koh formulas perform flawlessly without them.
