How do you wash Universal Cloths?Updated 14 days ago
TL;DR: Wash separately from whites, at a maximum of 60º C, using Sensitive Laundry Liquid or Sensitive Laundry Sheets. No bleach, no fabric softener. Line-dry where possible. Follow these steps and each cloth can last up to 3,000 washes.
Wash settings
- Temperature: Cool to warm cycle, maximum 60º C.
- Detergent: Use Sensitive Laundry Liquid or Sensitive Laundry Sheets.
- No bleach or fabric softener. Both coat the fibres and reduce absorbency over time.
- Separate colours from whites to prevent dye transfer.
Drying
- Preferred: Line-dry in open air.
- If needed: Tumble-dry on low heat only. High heat flattens the microfibre loops and reduces performance.
Quick care tips
- Rinse cloths after use to remove any cleaning product residue.
- Wring gently. Hard twisting damages the loops.
- Store fully dry to prevent odour-causing bacteria.
